DESERT LIMO LLC
Terms & Conditions
Effective September 5, 2026These Terms & Conditions govern this website and any reservation, membership, or chauffeur service offered by Desert Limo LLC. They work together with our Ride Policies, Privacy Policy, and your written reservation confirmation. These terms govern the customer agreement and website; the Ride Policies govern day-to-day ride conduct. A trip-specific written confirmation controls when it expressly differs from either document.
Agreement and authority
By using this website, submitting a reservation request, purchasing a membership, or accepting a written reservation confirmation, you agree to these terms. If you arrange service for other guests, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the group and agree to share the applicable terms with them. The person making a purchase or reservation must be at least 18 years old.
Prearranged service and confirmation
The website is an information and request portal. A submission, calendar selection, quote, or payment link does not by itself guarantee a ride. Desert Limo service is offered only on a prearranged basis, and a reservation is confirmed only after Desert Limo accepts it in writing and any required deposit is processed.
Your written confirmation should identify the date, service window, pickup and drop-off locations, itinerary, vehicle, passenger limit, included services, price, deposit, cancellation and refund terms, gratuity treatment, and approved add-ons. That trip-specific confirmation controls if it expressly differs from the general website description or these terms.
Accurate information and itinerary
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, passenger count, timing, locations, accessibility needs, and other details reasonably needed to plan the ride. Changes to the itinerary, number of guests, duration, or requested services require Desert Limo approval and may change availability or price. Service cannot exceed the vehicle’s lawful passenger capacity.
Rates, deposits, and payment
Website prices are starting prices or estimates unless a written confirmation says otherwise. The final quote and confirmation will state the agreed charges, required deposit, remaining balance, additional-time rate, approved add-ons, gratuity treatment, and applicable taxes or fees. By completing payment, you authorize Desert Limo and its payment provider to process the amounts you approved. Payment-provider terms also apply to the payment transaction.
Desert Limo will provide a receipt or written payment record. Disputed charges should be reported promptly so they can be reviewed. Nothing in these terms authorizes a charge that was not disclosed and agreed to or otherwise permitted by law.
Text messages and calls
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive text messages from Desert Limo at that number, including booking confirmations and updates about your ride. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel a booking; call 760-820-LIMO to change a ride.
Consent applies only to the service-related message categories described when you opt in. Desert Limo may call or email you about a request or confirmed ride using the information you provide.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
The cancellation deadline, rescheduling terms, no-show treatment, and whether a deposit is refundable will be disclosed before payment and repeated in the written confirmation. A requested change or cancellation is effective only when Desert Limo acknowledges it. If Desert Limo cancels and cannot provide an agreed substitute, amounts paid for the unprovided service will be refunded, except where a different remedy is required or permitted by law.
Timing, waiting, and delays
Reserved time begins and ends as stated in the confirmation. Guest-caused waiting, itinerary changes, or service beyond the confirmed period may be available at the disclosed additional-time rate. Pickup and arrival times are planned carefully but may be affected by traffic, road closures, weather, venue controls, mechanical issues, emergencies, or other circumstances outside reasonable control. Desert Limo will communicate material disruptions and prioritize safe operation.
Passenger conduct, restraints, and luggage
Guests must follow lawful safety instructions, use available restraints as required, and avoid conduct that is illegal, unsafe, threatening, harassing, or likely to damage the vehicle. Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, and weapons are not permitted. The chauffeur may refuse to begin or may end service when reasonably necessary to protect passengers, the public, the vehicle, or lawful operation. The booking party is responsible for guest conduct and for documented damage or extraordinary cleaning caused by the party, to the extent permitted by law.
The booking party must disclose when a child restraint may be required. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for providing and correctly installing an appropriate child restraint unless Desert Limo agrees otherwise in writing. Luggage must fit safely in the designated storage area and may be limited when it would obstruct an exit, exceed vehicle limits, or interfere with safe operation. Report lost property promptly; recovery or return cannot be guaranteed.
Minors and alcohol
When transportation is arranged, the booking party must disclose whether alcohol will be served or transported in the passenger compartment and whether any passenger will be under 21. When both apply and a passenger under 21 will not be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, a responsible designee age 25 or older must be present. The required stand-alone acknowledgement form must be signed and returned at least 72 hours before travel, or before transportation begins when the ride is arranged within that 72-hour period. Identification, supervision, driver-notice, and documentation requirements also apply.
Required California warning: “Consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons under 21 years of age is illegal. It is also illegal for an adult to provide alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age. If you consume alcoholic beverages, this trip will be terminated and all payments for transportation services shall be forfeited and not subject to refund.”
This warning is part of the transportation agreement when the alcohol-and-minor rules apply. If a person under 21 consumes alcohol during the trip, the chauffeur will terminate transportation and follow California law for returning the party and protecting the affected minor.
Vehicle substitutions and interruptions
If the confirmed vehicle becomes unavailable because of a safety, mechanical, or operational issue, Desert Limo may offer another suitable vehicle or a substitute carrier that holds the required California operating authority and insurance and is engaged under a compliant written agreement. You may accept the substitute or receive a refund for the affected service Desert Limo cannot provide, subject to any greater remedy required by law.
Accessibility, animals, and special requests
Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law. Pets and non-service animals are not permitted. Guests may share accommodation needs at any time; advance notice is appreciated when practical so the vehicle and service can be prepared. Food, beverages, florals, entertainment, and other special requests are subject to availability, applicable law, vendor terms, and written approval. Desert Limo cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Membership
A Desert Limo membership costs $1,000 and includes 10 prepaid chauffeur hours, with a one-hour reservation minimum. Membership does not guarantee a particular date or time. Confirmed rides reduce the available balance; gratuity, add-ons, and time beyond the remaining balance are not included. Any expiration, transfer, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before membership purchase and in the purchase confirmation.
Third-party services and website use
Payment processors, venues, restaurants, and other independent providers may have their own terms and are responsible for the services they provide. Links are supplied for convenience and do not transfer responsibility for an independent provider’s acts.
The website, photographs, artwork, text, logos, and other content are owned by or licensed to Desert Limo and may not be copied, sold, misused, or used to impersonate the company. You may use the website only for lawful, personal service inquiries and purchases.
Liability and legal rights
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desert Limo is responsible only for direct loss caused by its failure to provide the confirmed service with reasonable care. Desert Limo is not responsible for an independent provider’s acts or for delay or loss caused by events outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, violation of law, personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Questions and complaints
Send a written service concern to Ride@desertlimo.com. Desert Limo will acknowledge and respond to a written service complaint within 15 days. You may also use the California Public Utilities Commission transportation complaint process.
California law and changes
California law governs these terms, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection that applies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of it.
Desert Limo may update these terms for future website use, memberships, or reservations by posting a revised version and effective date. The terms accepted with an existing confirmed reservation will continue to govern that reservation unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
